Half-Day Sit
Zen
Three-hour zazen intensive on July 25. A single sitting day for those new to Zen practice or returning to the cushion.
About this retreat
A half-day sit offers a low-commitment entry into silent zazen practice. Three hours—roughly the shape of a single day within a longer sesshin—gives you the rhythm without the multi-day commitment. If you've never sat in a formal group setting, or haven't sat in a while, this is a straightforward way to return.
Zen Mountain Monastery has not published the daily schedule (start time, sitting periods, breaks) or whether a teacher will lead or provide instruction. Contact the center for those details.
