One Continuous Thread: Home Practice Intensive—March

This retreat offers a middle ground between full residential sesshin and solo home practice. You'll have access to live-streamed zazen from Zen Mountain Monastery—one of the major Soto Zen training centers in North America—but you're not required to sit for their full schedule. The structure is intentionally flexible: engage as much or as little as your life allows during the week of March 23–29, and join optional group Zoom meetings with teachers when you can.

The livestream element means you're sitting with others in real time, even if you're in separate locations. The optional Zoom meetings add accountability and the chance for direct contact with teachers, which distinguishes this from a purely recorded practice program.

Zen Mountain Monastery has not yet published which teachers will lead the Zoom meetings, the full schedule of livestreamed periods, or details about what online participation includes.
